I am a vegan (since 1999), a curious skeptic, a bookworm, a nature lover, and your garden-variety neurotic. I am fun at parties (because I am never there) and so unique that I am easy to forget. I was born in Virginia Beach and have lived in my native state for my entire life. I have a PhD in English from the University of Virginia and currently live in Harrisonburg. So take that, modernity.
